From major machinery launches and safety systems to finance, components, plant protection and digital technology, CEA members are out in force at Hillhead 2026.

The CEA (Construction Equipment Association) is well represented at Hillhead 2026, with members from across the construction equipment supply chain using the three-day quarrying, construction and recycling show to launch products, demonstrate equipment and meet customers from across the industry.

Taking place at Hillhead Quarry near Buxton from today to 25 June, the event has brought together equipment manufacturers, specialist suppliers, technology businesses, finance providers and service companies from across the UK and beyond.

CEA members exhibiting at Hillhead include Caterpillar, Finning, JCB, Bobcat, Komatsu, BOMAG, Manitou, engcon, Hatz, DIGGER GUARD®, Xwatch Safety Solutions, PVS Data, Safety Shield, Amber Valley Developments, Ashtree Vision and Con Mech Engineers, alongside many more businesses serving the wider construction equipment sector.

The range of CEA members at the show reflects the breadth of the industry, from large-scale machinery and attachments to cab protection, machine safety, telematics, visibility systems, fluids, finance, parts and specialist support services.

JCB is using Hillhead to preview its largest and most productive wheeled loaders to date, the new 480 and 490 models, while Bobcat is displaying its new T650 compact track loader in the UK for the first time alongside its latest R2-Series mini excavators.

On the McHale Komatsu stand, visitors can see a Komatsu PC130-11 fitted with an Xwatch XW5 safety system. The display follows McHale Komatsu’s appointment as an approved supplier for Xwatch Safety Solutions, giving Komatsu customers across the UK and Ireland a route to specify the technology through the dealer network.

DIGGER GUARD® has launched Clearview Secondary Glazing at the show, alongside its new Sky Shield™ Weather Defender Kits and high-visibility polymer Outrigger Pads. The products have been developed to help protect operators, machinery and cab glass in demanding applications.

PVS Data is exhibiting with Spillard Safety Systems, discussing integrated telematics, mixed-fleet data access and the growing importance of bringing plant and vehicle information together in one place. Safety Shield is also at Hillhead, showcasing its safety technology for plant and site operations.

Con Mech Engineers has returned with an expanded product range, including its Blademaster offering and solutions from recently secured partners BS Track and Dozco Rock Breakers. Construction Plant Finance is launching CPF PlantFlex, a new financing route for construction equipment, while TotalEnergies is highlighting lubricants designed for heavy equipment and off-road applications.

Viki Bell, CEO of the CEA, is attending Hillhead this week and meeting members, partners and contacts from across the sector.

Viki Bell said: “Hillhead remains one of the key dates in the industry calendar because it gives people the chance to see machinery and products properly, meet suppliers face to face and have the conversations that matter.

“It is good to see so many CEA members represented here, covering everything from major equipment and attachments through to safety systems, digital technology, finance, plant protection and specialist support. The range of businesses involved reflects the breadth of our sector and the part it plays in keeping construction, quarrying and infrastructure moving.

“I am at Hillhead this week and look forward to catching up with members, meeting new contacts and hearing what is happening across the industry.”

Hillhead 2026 runs until Thursday 25 June at Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton
