*U*K *businesses working in the infrastructure sector will have a unique chance to connect directly with some of Latin America’s biggest Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors this September. The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is hosting a Latin America EPC Contractors Meet the Buyer session at PlantWorx 2025, Newark Showground, on 23 September 2025.*

The initiative is designed to open doors for UK suppliers keen to access a growing pipeline of large-scale projects across Latin America. Attendees will gain insight into infrastructure opportunities spanning social development, transport, water, energy and mining. They will be able to showcase their expertise, start conversations around procurement needs, and find out how to join vendor lists – paving the way for new business relationships and long-term contracts.

Contractors confirmed for the delegation include Andrade Gutierrez, one of Brazil’s largest engineering and construction companies with operations in over 40 countries; Contracta, which delivers high-impact public and private projects and supports UK suppliers through Contracta UK; Elecnor, a global player in energy transmission and telecommunications; Grupo Flesan, with a strong track record in Chile and Peru; Incatuk, specialists in turnkey projects for agriculture, rural development and the complete water cycle; Odebrecht Engineering & Construction (OEC), part of Novonor, employing more than 20,000 people worldwide; and QGMI, renowned for financing and delivering major infrastructure projects in emerging markets.

With demand for international expertise high, this is a rare chance for export-ready UK companies to meet with senior EPC representatives face-to-face. Meetings will be available on a limited basis during PlantWorx.

*PlantWorx is owned and hosted by the Construction Equipment Association (CEA). In 2025, it will be the UK’s largest working construction show, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and industry professionals for three days of demonstrations, networking, and new technology.*
