Customers, partners and staff gathered at the Steelwrist headquarters in Rosersberg, Sweden, on May 14-16, to celebrate the company’s 20 years in business. The program included a factory tour and the possibility to see the full product range on display outside the production facility. Naturally, the recently launched new models in the third generation tiltrotators, the XTR15 and the XTR23, as well as the SQ40 automatic coupler with work tools to match, were presented.

There was a further highlight and more reasons to celebrate when it was announced on May 20 that Steelwrist received the Sweden’s Best Managed Companies recognition for the sixth consecutive year.

Steelwrist was founded in Sweden 2005, first setting up a shop in a garage north of Stockholm. The company has since then grown from a small newcomer to the global leader it is today and has delivered products to thousands of customers worldwide over the last 20 years. The focus remains the same as when the company was founded; to develop, manufacture and sell tiltrotators, quick couplers and work tools that make excavators more efficient.

Three days of anniversary celebrations at Steelwrist headquarters

At an exclusive event held at the Steelwrist headquarters in Rosersberg, Sweden, invited guests from all over the world came to celebrate the company’s first 20 years in business. During an extensive factory tour of the 13.500 square meters production facility the guests got a presentation of the complete manufacturing process of the wide product range. Additionally, at a large outdoor exhibition area, the guests could explore the full Steelwrist product range, including news presented at the recent Bauma exhibition. The program was concluded with an evening event at the nearby Steninge Bruk to top the day off.

In connection with the event Steelwrist launched a 20 years anniversary movie highlighting the major milestones in the company’s history, and featuring interviews with key company representatives. After its first screening for the guests, the movie is now available on all relevant social media platforms.

“I’m thankful to all guests from near and far that took the time to join us and celebrate our first 20 years in business. It has been a tremendous journey so far, that has been made possible thanks to our customers, partners and team members. With our latest product news, like the automatic couplers for compact excavators and the third generation tiltrotators, we are ready for the next 20 years and committed to bringing great solutions to customers all over the world”, says Stefan Stockhaus, Steelwrist CEO.

Steelwrist recognized as one of Sweden’s Best Managed Companies 2025

Steelwrist has received the Sweden’s Best Managed Companies recognition for the sixth consecutive year, and upholds the gold member status. The recognition is sponsored by Deloitte in partnership with Swedbank.

“We want to extend a special congratulations to our gold and platinum members who have received the award at least four and seven years in a row, respectively. It is inspiring to see so many of the companies continue to strive and measure themselves against the set goals”, says Lina Thörn, partner at Deloitte and responsible for Best Managed Companies in Sweden.

Best Managed Companies is a quality award given to private Swedish companies based on criteria that assess strategic direction, operational capacity, corporate culture, and financial development. The program was founded by Deloitte in Canada in 1993 and has since been established in over 20 countries worldwide. Sweden’s Best Managed Companies was launched in 2018 by Deloitte, and this year marks the seventh time the award is being presented. An independent jury has selected the 17 companies receiving the award this year.

“We are very proud to receive the Sweden’s Best Managed Companies recognition for the sixth time, and it adds to the joy of celebrating our 20 years as a company. I believe that this award is a result of our unique culture, the commitment and hard work of our global team and our strive for continuous improvement throughout the company. This reaffirms that we are very well positioned to continue our successful journey also in the future”, says Stefan Stockhaus, Steelwrist CEO.
