This week marks National T Levels Week (13–17 October) – celebrating the growing success of these industry-led qualifications that are helping bridge the gap between education and employment.

With a new academic year underway, there’s plenty to celebrate – from the launch of a brand-new T Level in Marketing to the growing number of students, providers, and employers getting involved across England.

T Levels are two-year courses, equivalent to three A levels, designed in collaboration with employers to equip students with the technical skills and experience needed in the workplace. Each course combines classroom learning with real-world experience – including a 45-day industry placement – giving young people the confidence to progress straight into skilled work, higher study, or apprenticeships.

Viki Bell, CEO of the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), said:

“T Levels are a fantastic way of connecting young people with real industry experience while helping employers build a future-ready workforce. It’s encouraging to see more businesses, students, and providers getting involved every year – it shows just how important collaboration is in shaping the future of our sector.”
