The CEA work closely with Make UK on lobbying issues, and they would appreciate our members completing their survey if your company is manufacturing or has manufacturing interests. The results will form a key evidence base for Government to put UK manufacturing at the heart of its levelling up agenda by reviving local economic regions.
Earlier this year, the Government set out a vision to level up the country, with the aim to “…build back better, build back greener, build back faster”. Make UK (the Manufacturers’ Organisation) are seeking to understand what levelling up means for manufacturers, in particular for people and regional economies.
The survey, Reviving Local Economies By Supporting Local Manufacturing seeks to identify what the priorities for supporting local and regional manufacturers should be, and how this can best be achieved through national and local intervention.
