Seamus Nevin is Chief Economist at Make UK, the representative voice of over 20,000 UK manufacturing companies of all sizes, from start-ups to multinationals, across engineering, manufacturing, technology and the wider industrial sector. A Fellow of the RSA, Seamus has over a decade’s experience across various rolls in Whitehall and Westminster and has served on numerous advisory boards for both Government and opposition parties, with a particular focus on economic policy. Seamus will cover the economic impact of the war in Ukraine, ongoing interest rates and inflation rises, the growing tax burden and broad-ranging discussion about the outlook for the UK economy and the manufacturing and construction sectors.
