Morris Site Machinery has brought a range of innovative products together as Morris Select to complement its current power portfolio and help customers choose the quality equipment they need.
In addition to established brands such as Alcon pumps, Softlite portable lighting and Hilta pumps and pressure washers, it features the exclusive Makinex range of products developed in Australia. The range was spotlighted at the Executive Hire Show and helped Morris Site Machinery win the Innovation Trail Award.
The expertly designed Makinex ‘battery’ Powered Hand Truck is already proving a big hit for Morris Select as it enables one person to safely lift and load small equipment or bulky goods weighing up to 140kg (309 lbs). One charge is sufficient for up to 50 lifts and the powered hand truck has a simple Makita battery pack.
Suitable for use in workshops, warehouses, distribution companies and hire and rental depots, it is a quick and easy alternative to using a forklift or tailgate loader for small loads. It is lightweight and easy to operate and manoeuvre, with the lifting arm controlled by lifting or lowering the handles using a simple thumb switch.
It is expected to reduce the incidence of back and other injuries caused by heavy lifting. After use the hand truck can be folded down flat for easy transport and storage.
The Makinex heavy duty breaker trolley is a ‘Select’ choice for the removal of quarry floor tiles, vinyl and cork from concrete and wooden surfaces. It makes using a breaker and demolition jobs easier, faster and safer.
The Select range also includes the versatile Makinex dual pressure washer which combines a rotary cleaner and wand pressure washer in one machine with the ease of swapping them at the turn of a handle.
