UKTI Canada – Mining Supply Chain Trade Mission

UKTI are running a trade mission to showcase the best of UK mining and mine infrastructure equipment, skills, training and services to equipment and service and users and mine principles and operators in both Saskatchewan and Ontario, Canada. Run in conjunction with the Government of Saskatchewan and CAMESE and delivered by the CEA.
Canada is one of the world’s largest mining nations producing over 60 minerals and metals. In 2013 the value of Canadian mining reached $43.6 billion. The trade mission is aimed at UK companies active in the sectors of mining and mine infrastructure construction. It will be of particular interest to companies who are able to fulfil the Canadian mine operators need for innovative products and services to increase productivity, reduce operating costs and extend mine life.
The mission will also be of interest to companies in the education and training, power generation and environmental sectors with a mining focus. The mission is open to UK manufacturers and their Canadian representatives, service and skills providers, professional bodies, education and training providers.
The mission is part of the GREAT HVO (High Value Opportunity) programme and offers some significant cost benefits to missioners. These include free registration at the CAMESE Procurement Forum worth $350, ground transportation and many meals and networking events that are usually chargeable.
