CASE 180th Anniversary Charity ‘Old Abe’ Carving

This year CASE is celebrating its 180th Anniversary. As part of the celebrations, CASE has partnered with Stihl and environmental artist Simon O’Rourke who will be carving a statue of ‘Old Abe’, the company’s faithful mascot since 1842, from a tree trunk using electric chainsaws live on CASE’s stand.

The finished carving will be auctioned off during Hillhead via sealed bids with all proceeds being donated to the construction industry charity, the Lighthouse Club. With only six ‘Old Abe’ carved statues globally, they have become extremely valuable and sought-after collectables and this one will be no exception.
