Event Postponement – Rail Union Industrial Action
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we’re getting in touch to let you know that the CEA AGM and the CEA Annual Conference, set to take place on 30th March, in Peterborough, will not be going ahead as planned.
The postponement is due to a national rail strike taking place on that day. As a number of our speakers and delegates were travelling via London on the train, and therefore unable to get to the East of England Arena, it was not feasible to proceed with the event.
We are all hugely disappointed, but the good news is that the conference has been rescheduled to take place at the same venue on Monday 12th June, preceding the Plantworx Innovation Awards ceremony and celebration dinner.
The CEA AGM, which was due to take place on 30th March, will now be a virtual event, taking place at 1pm on the 25th April, following the CEA Power Hour, hosted by Managing Director, Off-Highway Research, Chris Sleight.
We will be in touch with lots more information very soon, including a revised conference schedule, and details of how to join the AGM virtually.
