MOBA,  a leading provider of machine control systems for the waste logistics and construction industry in the UK, has reported year-on-year sales growth of 52 per cent for 2014; the highest increase in sales in the inception of the company.

As it plans a further 25 per cent growth in sales during 2015, the company has made a number of significant appointments. Ian Lewis, previously MOBA UK’s General Manager, has been promoted to Managing Director and reflects the growing importance the UK subsidiary is now playing in worldwide MOBA group of companies.

Other appointments include additional, northern-based, Service Engineers, plus new Software Project Engineers, all of whom will enable MOBA to boost its customer service offering and help the company market its sophisticated machine control systems for construction industry.

“The credit for our outstanding sales performance must go to our growing team as well as our established range of products that are starting to transform the conservative, yet under-developed, construction market”, commented Ian Lewis.

“Although the construction sector will continue to be challenging 2015, we believe that the government-led investment that will be ploughed into the UK’s road maintenance program will deliver increased demand for our thermal paving and levelling technology. Sales will also be boosted by the increased adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) by contractors and developers in road construction projects to improve the overall quality and accountability in their projects”, added Ian.
