During the UK-Indonesia Business Forum in April, President Joko Widodo briefed delegates of Indonesia’s priority sectors for development over the coming decades. Infrastructure is key, with a total investment of £290 billion needed for infrastructure projects with a large portion of that being offered to the private sector.

This briefing will feature the head of Indonesia’s Investment Coordinating Board – BKPM and former Trade Minister H.E. Thomas Lembong, and the KPPIP the equivalent of the UK’s Infrastructure and Projects Authority who will be offering insights into the planned projects. This event will give a real insight into Indonesia’s infrastructure needs and how they intend to meet them. The event will also showcase the upcoming Infrastructure week in Jakarta in November where the Indonesia International Infrastructure Conference and Exhibition will take place.
