Midlands – based Murley Construction Equipment, a leading plant hire equipment provider to the construction and agricultural sectors, has announced a significant site dumper supply agreement.

The 14 unit contract, coming from R. Savage Plant Hire in Birmingham, will see a selection of one, three, six and nine-tonne Terex® site dumpers supplied over the coming weeks – including two all-new TA9SP swivel-tip units featuring Start/Stop Control and Autoshift technology.

Replacing the plant hire firm’s existing site dumper fleet, the heavy-duty models will be manufactured at Terex Construction’s manufacturing facility in Coventry. Set to be rented and operated by site professionals across the midlands and the surrounding areas, each model will assist in improving on-site efficiencies for equipment users.

James Bird, Area Sales Manager at Murley Construction Equipment, commented: “Announcing such a significant supply agreement is the latest in a long line of successes for Murley Construction Equipment.

“Since joining the Terex global distributor network, we have worked in close partnership with the manufacturer’s Coventry team to provide our loyal customer base with the latest compact plant equipment and state-of-the-art on-site technology. This is just one of the resulting supply contracts.

“Robust and efficient, Terex site dumpers are built to handle the most challenging conditions and demanding use, making them ideal for the UK’s construction rental market. This deal is testament to the quality and performance of the Terex site dumper range and reflects a rising demand for hard-wearing and reliable compact construction equipment.”

Paul Savage, Managing Director at R. Savage Plant Hire, said: “This latest purchase of Terex site dumpers represents a significant investment for our company. We decided to choose Murley and Terex because we are confident in their ability to meet our expectations when it comes to part availability and servicing.”

Gregg Horne, General Manager of Terex Construction’s Coventry facility, adds: “Over the past few years, we’ve invested heavily in our products. We’re delighted to see this pay off with another significant order.

“We’ll be working closely with the team at Murley Construction Equipment to ensure that the agreement is delivered on time and to specification. We look forward to seeing further Terex product make its way into the West Midlands over the coming months, as contractors are able to experience equipment benefits first-hand.”
