Infrastructure Networking Reception The Department for International Trade (DIT) in association with the British Embassy in Stockholm invites you to a networking seminar and reception on Wednesday the 10th of April, ahead of the Swedish Transport Administration’s International Suppliers’ Day in Stockholm on the 11th of April.
Several major contracts in the Swedish infrastructure sector will be awarded 2019-2022. Among the many projects, the Swedish Transport Administration will be tendering contracts worth €5bn in total aligning to the East Link Railway Project. The individual contracts belonging to this project are worth +€300m.
DIT is offering UK companies the opportunity to meet with Swedish industry stakeholders, including the Swedish Transport Administration and local partners. In addition, you will also receive export advice and market insights from DIT trade officers and representatives from Invest Stockholm and other.
The networking event will take place in connection to the Transport Administration’s International Suppliers’ Day. The event programme will include:
Presentation by the Swedish Transport Administration on the East Link Project (€5bn), preferred working methods and best practice
Presentation by Invest Stockholm on “how to establish your business” in the Stockholm region
A networking reception in the British Embassy pub, the Pickled Herring. You will meet with local stakeholders, industry experts and trade officers to discuss the developments of the market
