GKD Technologies Promotes Jemma Dycer-Hopkins to Field Support Manager

GKD Technologies, manufacturer of systems designed for safeguarding personnel and machines, has announced the promotion of Jemma Dycer-Hopkins to Field Support Manager, effective from January 2019.

Jemma’s new role will involve managing engineers, subcontractors and installers. Service support will also form part of her new role, combined with customer liaison and account management. She will also be working closely with the R&D department on implementing improvements and changes.

Rob Bullen, GKD Technologies COO (Chief Operating Officer) commented on Jemma’s promotion he said, “Over the past two years, Jemma has built up a great team of field engineers at GKD.  Jemma recognised the need for a higher quality and more responsive support capability to meet our customer needs.  We are therefore pleased to recognise Jemma’s continued dedication and professionalism with promotion to the role of Field Support Manager.”

Jemma joined GKD Technologies two-years ago as a Service Co-ordinator.  She had previously gained an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation was involved in construction related employment before joining the GKD Team.

She said, “I am delighted to receive a promotion at GKD, and I am certainly looking forward to the new challenge.  I have worked very hard over the last two years and I am very lucky to be surrounded by a fantastic team of engineers and support staff who have made my journey to Field Support Manager possible. I am also looking forward to working more closely with GKD’s engineers and customers.”

GKD Technologies is based in the South of England, the company design, develop and produce height, slew and load safety control systems for Road Rail vehicles (RRV’s) and general construction equipment including excavators.
