Welsh-based plant hire firm, A H Plant Hire, recently added twenty of Kubota’s micro, mini and midi excavators to its ever-growing fleet, in response to an increasing customer demand across Wales, Wirral, Cheshire and Shropshire.

As a result of this demand, A H Plant Hire required powerful, durable and versatile machinery, helping it provide a first-class service at a competitive price. Made up of U10-3, U17-3, KX080-4 and KX057-4 Kubota models, supplied by North Wales dealer Major Owen Ltd, the new order will help serve projects spanning across a wide variety of applications.

Andrew Heaton, Director at A H Plant Hire, said: “With a growing customer base and an increasing number of projects in the region, we needed energy-efficient machines that would perform for many years to come. Offering an excellent return on investment, Kubotas also maintain a fantastic residual value and they’re easily serviceable, so the decision was a no-brainer.

“What sets Kubota apart from its competitors is the emphasis it puts on aftersales support. Having acquired these machines from Major Owen Ltd, the level of professionalism is second-to-none and this order builds on a long-standing relationship that we’re proud to be a part of. By dealing with the same individuals regularly over many years, we’ve gained a mutual understanding that allows everyone to prosper.”

Malcolm ‘Barney’ Barnet, Construction Sales Manager at Major Owen Ltd, said: “This deal is a great representation of our growing relationship with A H Plant Hire and Kubota, both decades in the making.

“Kubota’s range of excavators meets A H Plant Hire’s requirements. The growing demand for Kubota’s construction machinery is a result of its durability and reliability. The U10-3 is very popular among our customers because of its compact size and manoeuvrability when working in confined areas, giving the operator the best of both worlds.”
