NFPC seeing a gradual increase in “face to face” training

To identify the right training course – do a free self-assessment

The CEA participated recently in the National Fluid Power Centre (NFPC) Advisory and Strategic Planning Committee meeting in May. This provided positive feedback on how well the Zoom-based webinars had been received by members and other companies in recent months. The facilities at the centre in Worksop have been adapted to set up delivery studios, and the plan is to continue offering training courses on this basis in the future to companies who find this approach effective. However, it was also reported at the meeting that a gradual increase in “face to face” training was returning, as companies see activities beginning to return to more normal operations.

As a result, members are being reminded that the best way to ensure that the right training courses are selected is for individuals to take the free online self-assessment available on the NFPC website. This covers training within integrated systems engineering, involving hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics, which are key to the construction equipment industry.
