Severn Trent Water Ltd serves over eight million people in the heart of the UK, supplying nearly two billion litres of drinking water a day and treats waste water at over 1,000 sewage works, putting it safely back into rivers and streams.
Severn Trent Water has awarded Selwood a three year sole supplier framework agreement for the hire of surface and submersible pumps with a two year extension option.
Having held a contract with Severn Trent since 2006, Selwood is delighted to have been awarded the framework on a sole supply basis and, due to continued investment, has the systems and resource in place to allow for a smooth transition.
Severn Trent Water aspires to ensure that its services are always available to its customers and operates an ‘Always On’ policy. Selwood recognises its responsibility, when undertaking both planned and unplanned work, to ensure that disruption to production and supply is kept to a minimum.

Selwood has the advantage of being a manufacturer of the surface and hydraulic pumps to be supplied, as well as having one of the largest stock holdings of explosion proof electric submersible pumps, thus allowing Selwood to provide a complete range of equipment for temporary pump hire applications.
