Scammers target Plantworx exhibitors with Fake E-mails – once again

0

Plantworx Exhibitors may have received a version of the e-mail below claiming to be from the Plantworx team. This is NOTHING to do with Plantworx and is a scam. The Plantworx database is fully GDPR  compliant and Plantworx would never sell exhibitors’ data.

Sadly, most of us are familiar with the scammers who offer exhibition visitor and exhibitor lists for sale – they slowed for a while during the height of COVID-19, but now shows and exhibitions are back on the agenda for next year, the scammers are back.

If you receive an e-mail like this please delete and block the sender.   Do not reply to the e-mail as it will only serve to validate your e-mail address with the scammers.

Subject: PLANTWORX Update

Hi,

PLANTWORX which was originally scheduled on 2021 has been rescheduled to 14th – 16th June 2022!!

After discussing with the management and in accordance to Covid-19 regulations we have been forced to take such a decision.

We hope that all our community is safe and doing well. At the same time we understand the inconvenience caused due to the cancellation of our show.

So we have decided to launch our complete list of attendees’ who were registered for our 2021 edition with their verified contacting and mailing details.

You can connect with various B2B industry professionals and potential clients to facilitate your sales and marketing plans.

If you are interested kindly get back to us at the earliest, so that we can guide you along the process.

Regards,

Wayne Davis

Exhibitor Service Director
