The CEA will be exhibiting at the National Fluid Power Centre (NFPC) Industry Open Day on Wednesday 19th February. This event takes place at the NFPC training centre in Worksop. The CEA will be joining over 70 national and international companies at the exhibition from the world of hydraulics, pneumatics and applied electronics and control (known as Integrated Systems Engineering).

The NFPC Industry Open Day is an annual event which provides the opportunity to network within the industry, visit the world class training facilities at Worksop, and attend a variety of technical lectures, which are all free of charge. This year the lectures are being presented by Moog, Hydac Technology, Lubrizol and Simm Engineering Group.

The CEA launched a new initiative in the skills, education and training arena at the end of 2019 to help members address the skills gap within the industry. This involves setting up a new committee to focus and co-ordinate skills and training activities. The NFPC joined the CEA in 2019, and is participating in this new initiative. The area of integrated systems engineering is becoming increasingly important within the construction equipment industry as technology advances in machine operations. As a result, a growing number of CEA members are using NFPC training services to educate and train their employees.

The link below will take you to the Industry Day page on the NFPC website and provides details of the event. Please come and visit if you have the opportunity.
