Reminder: The CEA AGM is taking place virtually on Tuesday 25th April at 13:00

The AGM will follow the CEA Power Hour, which will be chaired by Managing Director of Off-Highway Research, Chris Sleight, who will be discussing global plant and machinery trends.

As you are aware, the association has undergone a strategic review and as part of this, we are proposing changes to the current governance to reflect the CEA as it moves forward.  As the CEA’s influence and mission continue to expand, it is vital that our corporate governance structure also matures and evolves to replicate modern business practices.

We plan to introduce a ‘Members’ Forum’ in place of the current Management Council which will inform the future direction of the CEA, and provide an important link between members and the Board. The proposed changes will allow us to effectively represent you – and will be beneficial for both the CEA and our members. Further details on how these changes will be implemented and how you can be involved will be circulated ahead of the AGM.

This is an opportunity for you to shape your association and be part of positive change. We would very much like for you to be involved as the voice of members and the sector. Please make every effort to attend – your input to the CEA’s future is instrumental to what we do.

The 20th Annual General Meeting of the Construction Equipment Association will be held via Zoom. Please click here to register for the meeting. The agenda and all documents for the meeting will be available shortly.

Please let me know if you require any further information. If your company is unable to be represented please contact Robert Bennison to request a proxy form.

I very much look forward to your attendance on 25th April at 13:00hrs and hope you are able to join us at the CEA Power Hour taking place before the AGM  meeting at 12 pm.

Kind regards,

Suneeta Johal,
Chief Executive
