CEA congratulates Phil Battle on MBA achievement

The CEA extends its congratulations to Phil Battle, Executive Director at SMT GB, on completing his MBA with Distinction at the University of Bradford School of Management.

Phil recently attended his graduation, marking the end of a two-year programme that he described as challenging, rewarding and incredibly worthwhile.

The MBA was of particular relevance to Phil’s work with SMT GB and Volvo Construction Equipment, with the University of Bradford programme standing out for its focus on the circular economy across all areas of business and management. This approach reflects many of the issues shaping the future of the construction equipment sector, including sustainability, innovation, leadership and long-term value creation.

Phil completed the programme while continuing to manage a demanding career, family life and wider professional commitments.

Viki Bell, CEO of the CEA, said: “Huge congratulations to Phil on this fantastic achievement. Completing an MBA with Distinction alongside a demanding career, family life and professional commitments is no small task, and it is a real credit to his commitment, focus and determination.

“Phil’s interest in circular economy thinking, innovation and long-term value creation is highly relevant to the construction equipment sector, and we are delighted to recognise his achievement.

“Best wishes from all of us here at the CEA.”

The University of Bradford School of Management is Triple Crown accredited, placing it among a small group of business schools worldwide to hold this recognition.

The CEA congratulates Phil on this well-earned achievement and wishes him continued success.
