Instigated and led by the CEA, the UK Equipment & Machinery Industry Forum provides a platform for UK trade associations that have an interest in machinery and related equipment to work collaboratively to form common positions on UK legislative matters, and liaise directly with the UK Government to advocate for their members.
The Forum has already established connections with the following Government departments, who regularly attend Forum meetings:
- Department for Business and Trade
- Department for Transport
- Defra
- Health and Safety Executive
- Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland.
