CEA represents UK manufacturers at CECE Technical Commission

CEA's Dale Camsell joined industry colleagues in Brussels for CECE's September Technical Week, where preparations for the EU Machinery Regulation, taking effect on 20 January 2027, were high on the agenda.

As part of the Technical Commission meeting, Dale provided an update on UK regulatory developments, including new arrangements allowing machinery compliant with the EU Machinery Regulation and bearing CE marking to be placed on the Great Britain market from January 2027.

He also outlined developments surrounding the UK's proposed Digital Product Record and the latest consultation on persistent organic pollutants.

With significant regulatory changes approaching, CEA's involvement in CECE's technical work helps ensure that UK manufacturers remain informed and that their interests are represented in European discussions.
