# CECE Market Update: what 2025 tells us about 2026

Do you want to understand where the construction equipment market stands in 2025 – and what is likely to shape 2026? *The CECE Market Update offers a clear, data-led view of the sector, bringing together CECE leadership and leading economic experts for a concise virtual briefing.*

Moderated by *Riccardo Viaggi, CECE Secretary General,* the session marks the launch of CECE’s Annual Economic Report, supported by a new animated video presentation of the findings.

*Phil Layton, President of CECE*, will open the event and set the scene for the year ahead. He will be followed by Sebastian Popp, CECE’s Economic Affairs Manager, who will provide a detailed analysis of market figures and outlook across the construction equipment industry.

The programme also includes a dedicated focus on the US construction market, with insights from Scott Hazelton, Consulting Director at S&P Global Market Intelligence, alongside a forward-looking perspective on digital developments from Frans Andersen, CEO and co-founder of Indicio Technologies.

Designed to be practical and concise, the session will give participants a clear understanding of current trends, emerging pressures and the strategic challenges shaping the sector. A live Q&A will allow attendees to put questions directly to the speakers.
