# New Head of Sales for Takeuchi UK

*Takeuchi UK have recently appointed Matthew Sheridan as new Head of Sales for UK and Ireland.*

Previously at SMT GB /Volvo and most recently Liebherr, Matthew already has more than 18-years in the construction plant and equipment sector and is looking forward to taking on the Takeuchi brand,

“I am excited to join Takeuchi as the head of sales and be representing a brand that has such a strong presence and reputation for quality products, innovation and exceptional customer service in our market.”

Starting 2025 with a new head of sales provides a great kick-start to the year, says MD for Takeuchi UK, Daisuke “Yana” Yanagisawa,

“We’re delighted to have Matthew on board. His experience in the plant equipment sector is a great fit to achieve additional growth at Takeuchi UK.”

Takeuchi UK benefit from an extensive and well-established dealer network of 30 depots supporting customers nationwide with an extensive product range from 1 to 15-tonnes including the very latest 3-Series excavators. With the recent opening of the Aoki factory in Japan providing increased productivity, Takeuchi machine availability is going to be its best-ever.
