# CEA announces new partnership with Cranfield University to support leadership and business development

***The CEA (Construction Equipment Association) has partnered with the Cranfield School of Management to offer members exclusive access to a range of high-calibre executive development programmes – including a 5% discount on both their short face-to-face courses and longer-form online programmes.***

As one of the UK’s leading institutions for postgraduate education, Cranfield has a strong reputation for developing business leaders and delivering practical, impactful learning. This new partnership allows CEA members to benefit from two flexible learning formats, both designed to support busy professionals and businesses focused on growth.

*Members can choose from:*

**Short face-to-face Executive Development courses** – typically three days on campus, covering subjects such as strategic workforce planning, finance for non-financial managers, and managing corporate sustainability. These highly interactive programmes bring professionals together in person for focused, high-impact learning.

**Longer-form Online Executive Programmes** – approximately 20–24 hours of flexible study, completed at your own pace. These in-depth programmes cover a wide range of essential business areas, including leadership, supply chain, strategy and innovation.

A spokesperson for Cranfield University said:  
*“Our online courses are designed to help professionals access essential skills in business and management. These short, focused programmes fit around a busy schedule while delivering practical insights that support real-world success. With a broad portfolio covering leadership, finance, supply chain, strategy and more – all curated by Cranfield academics – our programmes offer a flexible way to strengthen your capabilities, whether you’re an experienced executive or developing your career.”*

Viki Bell, CEO of the CEA, said:  
*“We know many of our members are investing in upskilling their teams – and their own leadership capabilities – as they navigate rapid change and growing demands across the sector. Cranfield’s programmes are built for working professionals, with real-world relevance and strong business outcomes. This latest benefit forms part of the CEA’s broader workforce and talent strategy – supporting companies from attracting new talent to retaining and developing existing teams.
