The event will take place on **8 July (Gala Dinner) and 9 July 2026 (Conference)** at **IET Savoy Place in London**, bringing together leaders from across the UK’s hydrogen industry. The **Hydrogen Energy Association (HEA)** is the UK’s leading trade association dedicated to hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Its membership spans energy producers, infrastructure providers, equipment manufacturers, technology developers and investors working across the hydrogen value chain. The annual conference is regarded as a key meeting point for the sector, attracting more than **300 industry leaders involved in producing, transporting, storing, using and investing in hydrogen**, as well as those supporting the wider growth of the industry. The HEA represents organisations from across the hydrogen value chain and works closely with government, industry and international partners to support the development of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies in the UK. Through its membership, the association helps shape policy discussions and strengthen collaboration between industry, government and the wider energy sector. The 2026 conference will focus on **UK growth, energy security and decarbonisation**, exploring how the hydrogen economy can contribute to economic growth while supporting the transition to lower-carbon energy systems. A key theme for this year’s programme will be **building demand**, bringing together hydrogen developers with organisations in industry, mobility and power that are expected to use hydrogen in the future. Confirmed participants include organisations such as **ITM Power, Progressive Energy, Kimberly Clark working with Carlton Power, the Ministry of Defence, Lower Thames Crossing, Heidelberg Materials, Glass Futures, GB Energy, Luxfer Gas Cylinders, Pressure Tech and Staubli UK Ltd**, alongside a wide range of industrial and financial stakeholders. Alongside the conference programme, an exhibition area will sit at the centre of the event, providing opportunities for exhibitors and delegates to connect with decision-makers across the UK hydrogen industry. ***Viki Bell, Chief Executive of the Construction Equipment Association, said:*** *“Hydrogen is an important part of the wider discussion around the UK’s future energy mix, particularly as sectors such as construction and engineering continue to explore alternative power solutions and lower-carbon technologies. The HEA conference brings together the organisations and decision-makers shaping that agenda.
