CEA, Chief Executive,Viki Bell named in 2026 Women in Trade Associations Powerlist
Viki Bell, Chief Executive Officer of the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), has been named in the 2026 Women in Trade Associations (WiTA) Powerlist, announced ahead of International Women’s Day.
The Powerlist is a collaboration between the Trade Association Forum (TAF), the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). It recognises inspirational women working across the UK’s association sector and celebrates their contribution to the industries they represent.
Compiled from more than 200 nominations, the final list of 100 women was selected by a panel drawn from TAF, FSB, CBI and WineGB.
International Women’s Day, marked each year on 8 March, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
Bell was nominated in recognition of the leadership she has shown at the CEA and the progress made by the association in recent years. Since joining the organisation she has helped modernise operations, strengthen engagement with members and increase the association’s visibility across government and the wider construction equipment sector.
Under her leadership, the CEA has reached record membership levels and strengthened collaboration with partner organisations across the industry. The association has also increased its engagement with policymakers, ensuring the voice of UK construction equipment manufacturers and suppliers is heard in discussions around regulation, trade and industrial strategy.
Commenting on the recognition, Bell said: “It’s a real honour to be included in the Women in Trade Associations Powerlist. Trade associations play an important role in supporting industry and giving businesses a collective voice. I’m proud to represent the construction equipment sector and to work with a strong team and engaged membership at the CEA. This recognition reflects the progress we have made together.”
The 2026 Powerlist will be formally launched on Friday 6th March ahead of International Women’s Day.
