CEA members represent the UK industry at CONEXPO-CON/AGG

CEA members were well represented at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for construction equipment, underlining the strength of the UK industry on the international stage.

It was good to see a strong presence from CEA member companies at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, one of the key global events for the construction equipment sector. Events of this scale provide an important platform for manufacturers, suppliers and industry experts to connect with partners, demonstrate new technologies and showcase the strength of the sector internationally.

The CEA was represented at the show by Nick Ground of GKD and CEA Board Director, Dale Camsell, CEA Senior Technical Consultant, alongside Chris Sleight of Off-Highway Research and CEA Board Director, Alex Woodrow of Knibb Gormezano & Partners and David Waine, Managing Director of Conmech Engineers. Their presence ensured that the UK construction equipment industry and its expertise were part of the conversations throughout the event.

Viki Bell, CEO of the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), was unable to attend due to recovering from knee replacement surgery, but praised those representing the sector on the ground.

Viki Bell, CEO of the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), said:
“CONEXPO-CON/AGG is one of the most important international events in the construction equipment calendar, so it was good to see CEA members and wider industry representatives there flying the flag for the UK. Although I was unable to attend in person, I’m grateful to those who represented the sector and helped ensure that the voice of our industry was part of the discussions. I’d also like to thank the team at KHL for allowing our colleagues to use their stand as a base during the show, which provided a useful hub during a very busy event.”

It was also good to see Roma Guziak, Senior Communications Manager at CECE, and Riccardo Viaggi, Secretary General of CECE, following their recent visit to London to view the venue for the CECE Congress 2026, which the CEA will host at IET Savoy Place from 27–29 October next year.

Trade fairs such as CONEXPO-CON/AGG remain an important meeting point for the global construction equipment community, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers and customers to discuss technology, policy and the future direction of the sector.

Looking ahead, the next major milestone for the CEA will be hosting the CECE Congress 2026 in London from 27–29 October at IET Savoy Place, bringing together industry leaders and policymakers from across Europe.
