As the recognised voice of the construction equipment industry, the CEA represents the interests of its members while directly contributing to the sector’s sustainability and growth.
Amid the rapid pace of technological advancements, the drive towards net zero, and economic fluctuations, we acknowledge that change is inevitable and familiar territory for our members. Although the unknown may seem daunting, we also see transformation as an avenue for new opportunities.
Recent changes within the CEA
After nearly three years as Chief Executive, Suneeta Johal has departed from the Association. The CEA extends its best wishes to Suneeta for her future endeavours.
In the interim, as we embark on the search for a new Chief Executive, the Board of Directors and the broader team remain accessible, strengthened by the addition of two new staff members.
We welcome Viki Bell as the new Business Development & Partnerships Manager and Beth Abbott as the new Marketing & Member Engagement Manager. Viki will focus on identifying and cultivating new business and market opportunities, whereas Beth will aim to enhance the membership experience and communication strategies. Their combined expertise in not-for-profit and trade association marketing and business development is expected to improve the CEA’s offering to our members, providing them with a superior, value-added benefits package.
Members can meet Viki Bell and Beth Abbott and reconnect with the rest of the CEA Team during the upcoming Members’ Forum scheduled for 17 July in Worksop (subject to confirmation). This event, exclusive to members, promises valuable networking opportunities, updates on the latest technical and regulatory developments, and a chance to influence the future direction of the CEA.
