18 CEA member brands named among the world’s top 50 OEMs

The latest Yellow Table 2026 from International Construction shows that the world’s 50 biggest construction equipment manufacturers generated a combined US$246.6 billion in 2025, up 3.8% on the previous year and the highest total the ranking has recorded. The report says this is the third time in five years that the Yellow Table has reached a record high, highlighting the resilience of the global construction equipment sector.

For the CEA (Construction Equipment Association), the ranking also offers a useful reminder of the strength and international reach of its membership. Cross-checking the Yellow Table against the current public CEA member directory shows that 18 CEA member brands feature in this year’s global top 50.

CEA member brands represented in the top 50 include Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, SANY, Volvo Construction Equipment, Hitachi Construction Machinery, JCB, Sandvik, Zoomlion, Doosan Bobcat, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, DEVELON, Terex, LiuGong, Kubota, Manitou, Takeuchi and Merlo.

At the top of the table, Caterpillar remains in first place, followed by Komatsu in second, while John Deere, SANY, Volvo Construction Equipment, Hitachi Construction Machinery, JCB and Sandvik also feature in the top ten. Zoomlion sits just outside the top ten in 11th place.

The wider report points to a sector that continues to perform strongly despite supply chain disruption, skills shortages and wider global uncertainty. It also notes that global construction equipment sales increased by 2% in 2025, according to Off-Highway Research, reinforcing the essential role the industry continues to play in supporting infrastructure, transport and development.

This year’s table also includes a structural change, with Hyundai and Develon combined under HD Construction Equipment in a single ranking entry. That makes the distinction between ranked companies and member brands worth noting, and is why the CEA figure is best described as 18 member brands represented in the global top 50.

Viki Bell, CEO of the CEA (Construction Equipment Association), said:
“The Yellow Table is always a useful snapshot of the global market, and it is encouraging to see 18 CEA member brands represented in this year’s top 50. That reflects the quality, scale and international reach of many of the companies within our membership. It also serves as a reminder of the important role our sector continues to play, both here in the UK and across the wider global construction equipment market.”
