Capja and Badger Marketing join forces at ScotPlant to target UK plant and hire market

 Capja and Badger Marketing have formally announced a strategic partnership at ScotPlant, marking a coordinated move into the UK construction plant and hire market.

The announcement was made on day one of the show, with both teams present on site to launch the collaboration and engage directly with contractors, hire companies and equipment providers across the sector.

Capja, led by Josh Wallman, has developed a suite of plant-hire and access-focused software designed to simplify site documentation, reporting and asset-level interaction. With Badger Marketing now its marketing partner, the focus shifts to structured market entry and growth in the plant and equipment space.

At the centre of the rollout is the introduction of new hire-focused software, built to challenge established systems by addressing the practical realities of plant operations. Alongside this, Capja’s QR-driven technology is being positioned for wider adoption, linking physical plant and equipment directly to live, structured digital records.

This enables site teams to access documentation, inspections and asset information instantly, improving traceability, reducing admin and creating a clearer audit trail across projects.

The construction plant sector continues to operate with a mix of legacy systems and manual processes, particularly at site level. Reporting, compliance and asset tracking are often handled across multiple platforms, or through disconnected methods such as email, spreadsheets and messaging apps. Capja’s approach introduces a more direct, usable layer, capturing information at source, at the point of work, structuring it consistently and linking it back to the asset itself through QR technology. This ensures data is recorded accurately the first time, rather than reconstructed later through paperwork, emails or disconnected systems.

Badger Marketing will lead on positioning and go-to-market strategy, supporting Capja with structured messaging, market engagement and campaign delivery across the construction, engineering and manufacturing sectors.
