The result is zero emissions at point of use, lower noise on site and a simpler route to meeting environmental and sustainability targets. Designed to operate on battery power throughout the year, the e360 allows batteries to be easily changed by site operatives when required. For longer or more demanding projects, an on-site charging station can be used to ensure continuity of power without disrupting site operations. Inside, the e360 provides full welfare facilities for teams of up to six people. The specification includes a comfortable seating area, hot drinking water and a microwave, LED lighting with PIR, inverter-powered sockets with USB connectors, an air-blown heating system, warm handwash facilities and a ceramic eco full-flush toilet with integrated tanks. The unit is built on a fully hot-dip galvanised chassis to meet the demands of busy construction environments. Despite its generous interior, the e360 remains compact and easy to tow. It measures 3,655 mm in length, or 4,920 mm including the drawbar, with a height of 2.9 m on wheels and 2.5 m on the ground. Unladen weight is 1,700 kg, with a possible gross weight of 1,800 kg. Fresh and waste water capacity is 20 litres each, with a 145-litre toilet tank. The e360 is aimed at longer-term and high-impact projects such as highways, infrastructure, utilities and major civil engineering schemes, where reducing emissions, noise and fuel use is increasingly a requirement rather than a preference. Its swappable battery system and solar support make it well suited to sites with established logistics and sustainability targets, while still delivering full welfare provision for site teams. At the heart of the design is the swappable battery system, which allows operators to maintain uptime without waiting for charging cycles. This gives hire companies and contractors a realistic way to move away from diesel-powered welfare units without compromising on usability, reliability or comfort. With the launch of the e360, Groundhog is bringing to market a site-ready, diesel-free welfare unit designed for the way construction projects are being delivered today. The e360 is on display on stand G13 at the Executive Hire Show, taking place on 11 and 12 February at the CBS Arena in Coventry, where visitors can see the unit up close and discuss how it can be deployed on site.
