Hatz puts the spotlight on power, diagnostics and hybrid solutions
CEA member Hatz is bringing a strong line-up of new products to the market, aimed squarely at hire and equipment businesses looking for reliable, efficient power and smarter support in the field.
At the heart of the range is the newly launched F-Series engine platform. Designed to suit a wide variety of drive systems, the range comprises eleven models delivering between 7.5 and 18.4 kW, with torque outputs from 48 to 76 Nm. This breadth gives OEMs and hire fleets genuine flexibility across multiple applications and markets.
Crucially, the engines meet EU Stage V and EPA Tier 4 final emissions standards without the need for exhaust gas aftertreatment. That means simpler integration, fewer components to manage, and lower lifetime complexity – all while remaining fully compliant.
Alongside the hardware, Hatz is also addressing one of the hire sector’s biggest challenges: downtime.
Hatz Remote Diagnostics, delivered via HDS²expert and the Hatz IoT module, allows machines to be monitored and supported wherever they are working. Engineers can diagnose issues remotely, pinpoint faults quickly and support customers without delay – even on sites far from the workshop. It is a practical response to the reality of modern, distributed fleets.
The third pillar of the range is the BD3000 battery charger, built around Hatz’s flywheel-integrated permanent magnet generator (fiPMG). Designed for hybrid systems, emergency power or continuous energy supply, the BD3000 is compact, lightweight and easy to integrate. It is now also available in a Silent Pack plug-and-play version, widening its appeal further.
The system automatically adapts to changing conditions such as altitude and ambient temperature, ensuring consistent and efficient charging performance in real-world environments.
Hatz will be showcasing these developments at the Executive Hire Show 2026 (11th & 12th February 2026, CBS Arena Coventry), giving visitors the chance to see how the latest engine, diagnostics and hybrid technologies are being shaped for the needs of the hire sector.
