Linde Hydraulics is now LHY Powertrain - a full solutions provider

New year, new name!

This year, LHY Powertrain (formerly Linde Hydraulics) has celebrated its 120th birthday – time to appreciate the past – but also to look into the future.

Once established as a manufacturer of tractors, the hydraulics division of Güldner-Motoren-Gesellschaft was formed from an early stage. Initially equipping their own vehicles with hydrostatic drives, the first external customers followed in the 1960s. The requirements became more diverse and technology continued to develop – always with the demand for consistently high quality.

Linde Hydraulics grew continuously until the in-house department finally became an independent company in 2013.

Today, they are a leading technology provider in the field of high pressure hydraulics, the drives produced by LHY set standards in terms of significantly reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. They are represented in more than 50 countries by a strong network of around 80 sales and service partners. LHY Powertrain is now evolving from a supplier of individual components to a provider of complete drive systems – always with a holistic view of the particular application. And even though they are constantly evolving, they never lose sight of their mission: #TurningPowerIntoMotion
