When Muscle Memory Meets Geospatial Awareness
GUEST SPEAKERS:
Leica Geosystems and Husco International
Hand-eye coordination is the ability of the vision system to coordinate the information received through the eyes with the movement of the hands in order to accomplish a given task, such as handwriting or catching a ball. In construction, wood stakes or sprayed lines on the ground have traditionally provided visual signals for the operators, while buckets and blades are guided by hydraulics and joysticks.
As jobsites get increasingly digitized, how will that information work its way into machine anatomy and autonomy? How will it change the design and function of construction equipment and the purchase preferences of its users?
This session will highlight how two world leaders, Leica Geosystems (part of Hexagon) and Husco, create semi-autonomous machine control solutions by combing their respective core competencies in geospatial intelligence and hydraulics.
The CEA POWER HOUR webinars offer CEA members, Plantworx exhibitors, and guests exclusive access to expert speakers from industry, government, and construction.
